Description:

Alibaba Cloud DevCollective Online Contest is organized by Alibaba Cloud (Singapore) Private Limited (“Organizer”). By participating in this Promo, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to comply with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. The decisions of the Organizer for all matters relating to the Promo shall be final and binding in all respects.

CONTEST PERIOD:

• The promo period will run from August 11, 2021 to September 15, 2021 at 11:30pm.

AREA COVERAGE:

• Philippines – Nationwide

WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO JOIN:

1. Promo is open to all Information & Technology developers and IT professionals aged 18 years old and above, currently residing in or a citizen of the Philippines.

2. Employees of Alibaba Cloud Philippines’ Inc and its advertising agency partners are not eligible to join the contest or raffle as well as their relatives up to 2nd party of consanguinity or affinity.

HOW TO JOIN:

• To qualify for the contest and raffle, participants should:

1. Sign up for an Alibaba Cloud Account at ph.alibabacloud.com

2. Register at (https://survey.alibabacloud.com/apps/zhiliao/hIuNIjsG9?spm=a3c0i.23591647.1208262520.1.414c549cF64OlC&accounttraceid=5188e3303a7f4557b7819da41e7bac1donck to be eligible to take the exam for free on either of the examination dates below:

• 20 Aug 2021

• 27 Aug 2021

3. Upon the exam completion, the certification will be available for download via Alibaba Cloud Account.

4. Register their entry at Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/alibabacloudparasapinoy-online-contest-tickets-163593730251

5. Fill out and submit the registration form

6. Join the Alibaba Cloud Philippines User Group at https://web.facebook.com/groups/alibabacloudusersgroup/

7. Once a member, participants have the option to post their photo with their certificates on the Alibaba Cloud Philippines User Group Facebook timeline (https://web.facebook.com/groups/alibabacloudusersgroup/) with the hashtag #ALIBABACloudParaSaPinoy #AlibabaCloudNine #AlibabaCloudDIZZIZIT

• Photo must not exceed 5MB. Note that the photo post will be public since the entry will be posted on the Alibaba Cloud User Group.

WHERE TO SUBMIT ENTRIES:

o Registrants will be provided a ticket code upon registering and this will serve as their raffle number

2. Participants can only submit a maximum of one (1) entry.

DEADLINE OF ENTRIES: September 15, 2021 at 11:30pm.

SCHEDULE & VENUE OF DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: via Zoom Meeting on September 23, 2021 at 5:00PM

HOW TO WIN THE ALIBABA CLOUD USD$200 CREDITS:

1. The first 25 participants to submit a qualifying entry will win $200 in Alibaba Cloud credits.

2. Judging will be based on the automated time stamp generated and stored in Eventbrite’s system.

3. The winners will first be contacted through an email instructing them about the verification and claiming process.

4. As part of the validation process, Alibaba Cloud will require the winners’ Alibaba Cloud usernames and emails to send the credits.

HOW TO WIN THE iPhone 12 Mini Raffle:

1. All qualified entries are eligible for the raffle.

2. Qualified entry is defined as completed registration.

3. The registration form will generate an automated ticket number and that will be the raffle number of each participant. Participant can immediately see the ticket number as soon as they submit and will receive a confirmation email with the ticket number.

4. The organizer will use a randomizer web application called Picker Wheel to determine the winner.

5. The raffle draw is scheduled on September 23, 2021 at 8:00pm.

6. The winner will first be contacted through an email instructing them about the verification and claiming process.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS:

1. The 25 winners of the USD$200 Alibaba Cloud Credits will be announced on September 24, 2021 at 3:00pm and will be posted on Alibaba Cloud User Group - https://web.facebook.com/groups/alibabacloudusersgroup/

2. The winner of the Apple iPhone 12 Mini will be announced on September 24, 2021 at 5:00pm and will be posted on Alibaba Cloud User Group - https://web.facebook.com/groups/alibabacloudusersgroup/

NAME AND PROFILE OF JUDGES:

The contest is managed by sponsor and agency, Beeline Now Consulting Services Inc. with its client, Alibaba Cloud Philippines Inc. monitored by a DTI representative during the raffle draw. There are no official judges for this promotion. Contact persons include:

PRIZES WITH SPECIFICATIONS:

Minor Prize: ALIBABA CLOUD DIGITAL VOUCHER (25 winners of minor prizes) at PhP 10,000.00 per voucher

Grand Prize: APPLE iPhone 12 Mini (64GB) (1 winner of grand prize) at PhP 44,490.00

HOW TO CLAIM PRIZES:

1. A winner is deemed to be a potential winner pending verification of his or her eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules as determined by Organizer, at Organizer’s sole discretion.

2. Winners have 24 hours to respond to the notification with the required details. Otherwise, failure to provide such details within the said period will result in the redraw of the grand prize and selection of the 25 credit vouchers being forfeited or awarded to alternative winners. Once prize is forfeited, entry for that particular photo will be disqualified as well.

3. All potential winners will go through verification. Participant must present one (1) valid government ID with photo issued by any government agency or valid school ID for students who are at least 18 y/o upon verification. They must also sign a waiver to be sent by the contest organizers. Failure to submit requirements will result in disqualification.

4. To award the Alibaba Cloud credit vouchers, participants need to sign up for an Alibaba Cloud account and share with their account email address and ID. Alibaba Cloud will then credit the amount to the user account.

5. The grand prize (Apple iPhone 12 Mini) will be shipped to the winner’s house listed in their entry ticket via https://www.eventbrite.sg/e/alibabacloudparasapinoy-online-contest-tickets-16359373025.

6. All Prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). In the event that any Winner does not accept or agree to the terms as stated below, the Prize shall remain with the Organizer who at its sole discretion may offer the same to an eligible winner.

7. A minor prize winner is still eligible to win a major prize.

8. In the event that there are disqualified winners, the remaining prizes will be re-allocated within the Promo Period or forfeited as per the discretion of the Organizer.

9. Organizers will pay the 20% tax for prizes exceeding PhP 10,000.00.

CONTROL MEASURES

1. The Organizer reserves the right to request for proof of identity at any time, and to disqualify any entry based on the following:

• Obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, threatening, harassing, libelous, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy or otherwise inappropriate content, caption, data, video or images unsuitable for broadcast in the opinion of the Organizer.

• The display of other commercial products, such as but not limited to: beverages, food, clothing and/or their trademarks, brands, logo or endorsements.

• If participant’s residence as declared in his/her government issued identification is outside of the Philippines.

2.Prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.

3.Only the entries before the cut-off schedule will be counted; entries after the cut-off will not be considered anymore.

4. All decisions made by Organizer relating to this promotion will be deemed final.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. By participating in this Promo, each participant is agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and agrees to grant the right to the Organizer to unlimited use of any and all photos and other materials uploaded by the user for any purpose whatsoever at any time without compensation or the need for further notice or approval.

2. The Participant shall take full responsibility over the content shared for this promotion. The Organizer shall be free of any claims whatsoever with respect to the photos and content submitted by the Participant.

3. Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the promotion. Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Central and State governmental actions, policies and other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.

4. The Participant agrees that Organizer is only reproducing the photos uploaded on the Social Media Accounts and that Organizer has the right and authority to remove any such uploaded content deemed inappropriate from Social Media Accounts either itself or by taking appropriate legal action (civil or criminal) against the Contestant.

5. All personal details submitted by each user must be accurate, complete and are subject to provision of proof upon request of the Organizer. Any inaccurate or incomplete information found in a submission will result in the disqualification of the user.

6. The Organizers reserve the right to change/ modify terms and conditions and/ or criteria of the Promo and / or the Prize for the Promo and/ or the duration/ timing of the Promo, at any time at their own discretion and without any prior notice and without assigning any reason.

7. The Participants grant the Organizers irrevocable consent in perpetuity to the use his/ her name, photographs, video submitted and/or taken during the prize distribution in connection with the Promo, in any and all applications including but not limited to advertising, commercials, promotion, stories, text, articles and commercial exploitation, in any and all media forms, including but not limited to radio, broadcast and television, newspapers and magazines at any time without the Participants’ further knowledge or consent.

8. The Organizer will not be responsible for any entries submitted but not posted due to any reason whatsoever following the screening process. Only eligible entries received and not disqualified through the screening process during the Promo Period will be valid.

9. Winners may be required to sign such further documents as may be considered necessary by Organizer and/or the Organizer’s advertising agency.

10. If any part of the Terms and Conditions herein is held invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions and any such invalid term shall be deemed severed from the remainder of the Terms and Conditions.

11. Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Acts of God, Governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.

12. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts in the Philippines.
